VERO-WIRE

This PCB prototype wiring system requires that bases are used for the Integrated Circuits as, once completed, the sockets cannot be removed due to the wiring process.

The wiring can be changed - old wires removed and new ones added - but to change whole ICs, had they not been in sockets, would be time consuming and uneconomical.

The process requires that the bases have legs which will bend outwards; this is important.

The ideal prototype board is Vero Double Density.

Eurocard Modules, for example, can be quickly fabricated using this system.

Some skill is required in the process, also the ability to see close detail.

An artistic temperament would be an advantage.
