Topic: Even under stress always look outwards.

Even Under Stress Always Look Outwards.

Note: One sitter is in hospital and another is awaiting an operation next Tuesday.

Spirit (Ling): Greetings.
We won’t keep you long tonight because it is a time of stress for you all, but I’m going to point out that when one is under stress, one is inclined to look inward. It is not wise friends – always look out!

I’m going to remind you of a talk that you were given some time ago now, asking that you would observe people in your daily lives that needed help, perhaps people you didn’t know. I think that you may have forgotten. I won’t ask you, but when you have your time of relaxation together afterwards, discuss it. You may find that you have forgotten.

As spirits, which you are, one must not become self centred or too centred in your family and friends. Remember that the world, the people in it, are your brothers and sisters. Expand your minds out even in time of stress, because I’m sure you realise that there are many, that are in worse positions than yourselves.

You may think of people who were killed. It is not those that my friends or I are referring to, for death is a joy, it is another birthday, but there are other stresses and keep these in mind. Expand your thinking in all directions and instead of becoming stressed by it, you may realise how fortunate you are, because I’m sure that you can find things to be joyful of in your lives.

We are sorry you won’t be with us next week, but it is fully understandable and for tonight I will not say any more…

Sitter (K): Could I ask a question please?

Spirit: Yes what is your question Ken?

Sitter: I’m not sure if I understood you correctly in your talk tonight, but did you mean that we should not ask time and again for friends and relatives, people that we know who are still in need of healing, that once should be sufficient? Is that what you had in mind?

Spirit: No. You have misunderstood if you think that. By all means remind us, because we have much on our minds as you can well imagine, but we are asking that you think not only of your own immediate circle, but when you have time in your lives, perhaps when travelling to and from your island, perhaps of an evening, spend just a few minutes to think of others, other than your own immediate circle.

Do you understand?

Sitter: Yes thank you. I thought you were referring to our healing thoughts now in this circle, in this room, but I see that you meant anytime, like you spoke about in your earlier talk.

Spirit: God bless you, and understand that we appreciate questions and do not mind.

Sitter: Thank you very much indeed and thank you for coming to us.

Good night Ling.
